Wetley is a Red Smooth Piebald Dachshund,  He was taken from
his owner's home in Fredricksburg, VA.
PLEASE BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR HIM!!
His owner is heart broken, as would be imagined.

There is a REWARD being offered for information leading
to his safe return. A few other small dogs in the area have been stolen.
Wetley is 5 months old. He weighs a little over 8 lbs and was just given his Rabies shot and weighed at the Vet office on 20th of January, 2005.
Wetley was stolen from his home (or perhaps escaped in the process of being
dognapped) on January 21, 2005 during the daylight hours while his owner
was at work. Another dog in the home was injured and a few items stolen.
All of the dogs (11) were in crates when the owner went to work, except
for two dachshunds that have IVDD and they were kept in a playpen.
ALL of the dogs in the home were Dachshunds. It is believed the people
tried to take the Standard Wheaten Wire as well, due to her unusual color
and she was injured and loose (out of her crate) when the owner got home.
All of the dachshunds have been Spayed or Neutered. They have
no breeding value, but that could not be evaluated on a female,
the piebald was a puppy and very friendly

This is what I looked like in mid November 2004

As you can see I have pretty distinct markings.
The fronts of my rear legs as well as the lower portions of them, are white.
The back part of them from the Hock and up are Red. Half of my tail
is Red, the other half to the tip is White.
I have gotten several more ticking spots (small red dots) since I
was a tiny baby as evidenced in the pictures taken a few days ago.
I am VERY LOVED by my Human Mom, Please help me
get back to her loving arms!! PLEASE HELP!!!
